Your plan settles each one for your animal and your enclosure, before you buy a single bulb.

  1. A coil UVB bulb in the corner.Your plan names the tube: its strength for your animal's UV zone, and its length for your enclosure.
  2. The UVB too far away, or too close.Your plan sets the basking height so your animal's back sits in the right UV range under that tube, through the mesh or not.
  3. Heat with nothing controlling it.Your plan sizes the halogens for your room and puts every one on a thermostat, with night heat only if your room needs it.
  4. An enclosure that is too small.Your enclosure gets an honest verdict against the adult minimum, before the plan is written around it.
